Phew! Thank gosh it’s the weekend. No matter what you’ve been doing this week, we think you all deserve a hearty otsukaresama desu (this phrase is so hard to translate into English, but that’s a topic for another day!).
What we’re super pumped about right now is this year’s Anime Expo! As always, it sucks that bigger events aren’t being held in person, but this way we get to experience all the announcements and excitement of AX Lite from all around the world!
In particular, we’re excited to see VTubers from the hololive English crew around AX, including Mori Calliope, Takanashi Kiara, Ninomae Ina’nis, Gawr Gura, and Watson Amelia. If your first thought is, “What on earth is hololive?” then don’t be discouraged - check them out and you’ll probably see why they’re taking YouTube by storm!
AX Lite 2021 runs from July 3 to 4 (PDT) with on-demand content also available afterwards. Besides that, of course, we’d be stoked for you to check out this week’s 60 new figures! See you around!
