Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Film to Premiere on December 24!

Upcoming fantasy anime film Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie is set to premiere on December 24!

The news was revealed alongside a teaser visual at Juju Fes 2021, a special Jujutsu Kaisen event held on June 13. The visual's tagline states that the film is "the starting point of Jujutsu Kaisen" and "a story of love and curses."

Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie will be based on Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical School, the 4-chapter manga prequel series that was also published in a volume as Jujutsu Kaisen 0.

Originally a manga by Gege Akutami, Jujutsu Kaisen follows Yuji, a high school boy who chooses to join the Occult Research Club, despite his exceptional talent for athletics. When a cursed talisman is accidentally unsealed, Yuji swallows it and becomes the host of the curse, which he must carry until he is able to kill it along with himself.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie will open in Japanese theaters on December 24.
