The Dragon Ball Super series will get a new film in 2022!
While details are scarce, a comment from original creator Akira Toriyama has been released through Dragon Ball's official website.
Written by Akira Toriyama and illustrated by Toyotarou, the Dragon Ball Super manga is the sequel to Toriyama's original Dragon Ball manga, which follows a young martial artist named Son Goku and his journey to find the magical Dragon Balls. In addition to the TV anime adaptation, Dragon Ball Super received its first film in 2018 under the title of Dragon Ball Super: Broly. It was also the overall franchise's 20th feature film.
The new Dragon Ball Super film is slated to open in 2022.
