Higurashi When They Cry Anime Delays Premiere Due to COVID-19

The broadcast date for upcoming anime Higurashi When They Cry has been delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The series was originally scheduled to air from July, but a new premiere date will be announced via the official website and Twitter account once confirmed.

Based on the classic horror/mystery visual novel by Ryukishi07 / 07th Expansion, Higurashi When They Cry is set in the summer of 1983 in the fictional town of Hinamizawa. The game was previously adapted as a TV anime in 2006 as well as a live action movie and TV drama.
