Fruits Basket Season 2 Casts Umehara Yuichirou As Sohma Kureno!

Fruits Basket has released a new character visual for Sohma Kureno, who will be played by voice actor Umehara Yuichirou!

Umehara will make his debut as Kureno in Episode 5. The young man's origins are known to few, even within the family, where he is often found at Akito’s side.

Adapted from the manga by Takaya Natsuki, the Fruits Basket TV anime reboot features a new cast and creative team and aired its first season in Apr. 2019.

The story follows high school student Honda Tohru as she finds herself moving in with classmate Sohma Yuki and his family. However, she soon discovers that they are all subject to a peculiar curse where they are possessed by animals of the Chinese Zodiac.

Season 2 of Fruits Basket's TV anime reboot is currently airing.
