The Granblue Fantasy anime will be back on Mar. 27 with a special episode named Extra 1: Mou Hitotsu no Tabiji on Mar 27!
Inspired by the popular game of the same name, Season 1 of Granblue Fantasy aired from Apr. 2017, and continued with Season 2 in Oct. 2019. The series follows a young boy who dreams of the stars as he unites with a mysterious blue haired girl from the skies. Along with their trusted companions they board an airship, deepening their bonds as they evade the imperial forces which pursue them.
The upcoming special will focus on Djeeta, the main female protagonist in the original game. It stars Kanemoto Hisako as Djeeta, Hanazawa Kana as Zeta, and Hirano Aya as Beatrix.
Granblue Fantasy Extra 1: Mou Hitotsu no Tabiji airs on Tokyo MX, Tochigi TV, Gunma TV, BS11, and AbemaTV on Mar. 27.
