A new key visual and trailer have been released for the reboot anime of popular shoujo manga Fruits Basket!
Depicting the chance meeting between Tohru and the Sohma family, The trailer features the voices of Kugumiya Rie as Sohma Kagura, Han Megumi as Sohma Momiji, Furukawa Makoto as Sohma Hatsuharu, Okitsu Kazuyuki as Sohma Hatori, Sakurai Takahiro as Sohma Ayame, and Sakamoto Maaya as Sohma Akito for the first time.
Fruits Basket revolves around recently orphaned high schooler Honda Tohru who finds herself homeless after falling out with relatives until she moves in with a classmate, Sohma Kyou. However, the Sohma family turns out to be under an ancient curse in which they are possessed by the spirits of the Chinese Zodiac and turn into their corresponding animals in certain conditions.
The new anime adaptation of Fruits Basket will air from Apr. 6.
