KonoSuba Movie to Premiere in 2019!

KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! has confirmed that its very first anime movie will be premiering in theaters in 2019!

Fans will be able to get their hands on a special advance ticket for 4,500 yen on Nov. 4 at the special Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko 30th Anniversary festival. It will come with a bonus of an art board a specially illustrated art board by Mishima Kurone, the original illustrator for Konosuba plus some cute decorations for your sneakers: shoe laces and shoe charms!

Originally written by Akatsuki Natsume, Konosuba is a massively popular comedy light novel series with over 6.5 million copies printed. After being adapted into a TV anime in 2016 with a second season following in 2017, the film was officially announced in Jun. 2018.

The movie will be headed by the same creative team as the TV anime including director Kanasaki Takaomi, series composition by Uezu Makoto, character design by Kikuta Kouichi, and music by Kouda Masato with J.C.Staff handling production. The cast will also return with Fukushima Jun as Kazuma, Amamiya Sora as Aqua, Takahashi Rie as Megumin, Kayano Ai as Darkness, Horie Yui as Wiz, and Toyosaki Aki as Yunyun.

The official Twitter also hinted at further announcements to be made at the festival.
