Following its TV anime broadcast in 2017, comedy manga The Royal Tutor will be heading to the big screen on Feb. 16, 2019!
The Royal Tutor is based on Akai Higasa’s manga of the same name, which is currently running in Monthly G Fantasy. The series follows the adventures of Heine Wittgenstein, a man who despite his childlike looks is charged with educating four rebellious princes into credible candidates to succeed the throne.
The movie will feature an original story set after the events of the TV anime, also adding two new characters: a pair of twin princes from another kingdom, whose cute appearances belie their sadistic personalities. This time, however, it seems that the four princes that Heine taught will in turn take on the responsibility of educating their new peers.

Much of the original staff and cast will return for the movie, with Kikuchi Katsuya as director, Ueno Kimiko on script and Inai Keiji for music composition. Ueda Keisuke, Asato Yuya, Adachi Yuto, Hirose Daisuke, and Aoi Shouta are also set to reprise their roles as Heine, Kai, Bruno, Leonhard, and Licht respectively.
A series of bromide-style advance tickets are available at cinemas that will screen the film when it opens next year.

The Royal Tutor movie will open in theaters on Feb. 16, 2019.
