Sanji of One Piece and Yukihira Souma of Food Wars! will be starring in an unlikely crossover one-shot to be published in the Jul. 23 edition of Weekly Shonen Jump!
Titled Shokugeki no Sanji, the collaboration will feature a story by the original creators of Food Wars, writer Tsukuda Yuto and illustrator Saeki Shun. Dietitian Morisaki Yuki, who advises on recipes for the original series, will also participate in the project.
A preview for the one-shot was revealed in the 50th anniversary volume, which also included a new chapter for Food Wars.

Oda Eiichiro’s One Piece is a pirate-themed series that follows carefree hero Monkey D. Luffy, who seeks the legendary treasure One Piece and the title of King of Pirates. One Piece has been running in Weekly Shonen Jump since 1997 and turns 21 in 2018.
Food Wars! began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2012 and follows the adventures of aspiring chef Yukihira Souma as he attempts to battle his way through culinary school.
Shokugeki no Sanji will be published in Vol. 34 of Weekly Shonen Jump, which is slated to hit the stands on Jul. 23.
