With about a month to go until its premiere in Japanese theaters, superhero-themed anime movie My Hero Academia the Movie: The Two Heroes has released a new set of character designs and visuals!
While he's definitely missing some of the bulk and the intensity of his present-day self's grin, the character design for Young All Might can't be mistaken for anyone but the legendary hero.
Another visual sees the main characters swap their hero costumes for party outfits.
My Hero Academia the Movie: The Two Heroes is an original story that delves into the mysterious background of All Might.
Originally written by Horikoshi Kouhei, superhero manga My Hero Academia was first serialized in July 2014 in Weekly Shonen Jump. In a world where most of the population have powers, or “Quirks", protagonist Midoriya Izuku has always dreamed of following in the footsteps of All Might, the best pro hero around. Despite lacking a Quirk, Izuku is one day given an unexpected chance to pursue his heroic nature when he meets the legend himself.
My Hero Academia the Movie: The Two Heroes opens at cinemas across Japan from Aug. 3.
