Sunrise has announced that the new Tiger & Bunny anime project is a spin-off titled Double Decker! Doug & Kirill, to be broadcast sometime in 2018.
Directed by Furuta Takeshi ( Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of The Commandments ), the series will revolve around two detectives, Doug Billingham and Kirill Vrubel. Like the setting for Tiger and Bunny, Billingham is a veteran who has been in the force for a little too long, while Vrubel is his new partner and a rookie who is looking to make his mark on the world.
No other characters or plot points have been introduced as of yet, but fans of Tiger & Bunny are sure to be treated to more crime fighting and villainous plots, only this time they’ll be handled by good old fashioned detectives.
