The “Cleanliness Blue Member Announcement Press Conference” was held on June 19, in preparation of the July 2 broadcast of TV anime Keppeki Danshi! Aoyama-kun ( Cleanliness Boy! Aoyama-kun ).
In addition to Okiayu Ryotaro (Aoyama-kun), Seki Tomokazu (Zaizen Kaoru), and Haruno Anzu (Goto Moka), 5 other members of the cast appeared on stage in suits including Hoshi Soichiro (Sakai Kazuma), Sakaguchi Daisuke (Tsukamoto Jin), Yoshino Hiroyuki (Yoshioka Taichi), Sugiyama Noriaki (Ishikawa Gaku), and Kishio Daisuke (Tada Hikaru).
Mukai Seitaro served as MC for the program, and guests also included monomane actors like Ari Kotato, Junichi Davidson, Amore Hashimoto, and Asano Tomoaki.
After the cast announcement, there was a press conference where the MC asked the voice actors cleaning-related questions like, “Do you like cleanliness?” and “Do you like cleaning?” The different characters were introduced along with their unique traits, such as being a narcissist or having a hot-blooded spirit.
Other news was released, too, like details about the 2nd PV and ending theme song, as well as information about a related radio program.
Okiayu, Seki, Hoshi, Sakaguchi, and Yoshino will be performing the ending theme “Taiyo ga Kureta Kisetsu,” a cover of a 1972 song by folk group Aoi Sankakujougi, as the Fujimi High School Soccer Team.
The radio program will be called Keppeki Danshi! Aoyama-kun Web Radio ~Keppeki Radio! Ayu-kun~, and it will be hosted by Okiayu as he talks with different guests. (The first will be Seki, by the way!)
The anime will be airing on July 2, and it looks like fans will have a lot to look forward to!
