Recreating those famous scenes from the anime, the latest editions to the Shachihata Name 9 name stamp cases feature Osomatsu-san sextuplets Karamatsu (tied to a log) and Ichimatsu (tied to a bat). The Osomatsu-san Name Stamp Case Set: Karamatsu & Ichimatsu is now available for pre-order from the Sun-Star Stationery store on Premium Bandai and retails for ¥3,456 (including tax, excluding shipping and handling).
This Osomatsu-san themed set is the fourth instalment in the Jiko Sekinin Stationery Series. The set of two Shachihata Name 9 stamp cases features sextuplets Karamatsu and Ichimatsu tied to a log and a bat just like in the show.
The Karamatsu version recreates the scene from “Episode 5A: The Karamatsu Incident” in which Karamatsu is kidnapped by Chibita and tied to a log to make his brothers pay their tab! Karamatsu is tied to the log, looking down at himself with a stunned expression. So many bad things seem to happen to Karamatsu, but even so this scene made quite an impression.
The Ichimatsu version is inspired by “Episode 9B: Jyushimatsu Falls in Love” in which Jyushimatsu starts acting weird because he’s fallen in love and doesn’t practice his baseball swings with his brother even though he already tied himself to the bat. You can see Ichimatsu’s concerned expression regarding his brother’s strange behaviour even whilst tied to the baseball bat in the recreation of this classic scene which has so proved popular with Osomatsu-san fans.
