Following on from the images released on Nov. 29, Bushiroad has now revealed a second visual for the Cardfight!! Vanguard Virtual Stage Joker Arc stage play.
Rise to meet the Я (Яeverse)!
The first visual was released on Nov. 29, but this second reveal brings all the characters from the Link Joker arc together. The poster features the familiar faces of Team Q4 and AL4 who have been facing off on stage since January 2016, but they’ve been given a fresh new look with updated outfits and haircuts. There are also a few new Joker arc characters in the mix too, and if the poster is anything to go by a whole new exciting story is set to unfold.
Aichi has now become a high school student at Miyaji Academy where he meets classmates Naoki Ishida and Shingo Komoi as well as Leon Soryu - descendent of the legendary Aqua Force clan. Also on the scene are Leon’s twin minions Jillian and Sharlene Chen as well as the mysterious young man Takuto Tatsunagi. What are they all up to?
Under the supervision of original author Akira Ito, the exciting action and well-drawn characters of the Link Joker arc are coming to the stage complete with original story elements!
Story
Aichi is now at high school where he sets up a card fight club with the other students and heads for the top Cardfight tournament, VF Koshien. Even if he loses, everyone is eager to see Aichi face off against Fukuhara High School led by AL4’s Ren Suzugamori. Witnessing the two fighters, Kai begins to get wrapped up in feeling something like jealousy toward the pair’s skill level.
One day, while strange events begin to happen around Aichi, Kai, sensing evil power at play, dangerously unleashes a new threat to the world with Link Joker, but its overwhelming strength begins to shake the calmness of his heart. The fight begins to protect what’s really important, securing bonds and friendships.
