Detective Conan: The Darkest Nightmare to Release in China on Nov. 25!

TMS Entertainment has announced that Detective Conan: The Darkest Nightmare, the 20th installment of the Detective Conan (aka Case Closed) movie series which has grossed a record 6.31 billion yen since its release in Japan earlier this year on April 16, will premier in 4,000 movie theaters throughout China on Nov. 25. What’s that if not an awesome pre-Christmas present for Conan fans in China?

This movie marks the fourth release of Detective Conan film series in China and the first release in two consecutive years, with the previous release being Detective Conan: Sunflowers of Inferno. Detective Conan: The Darkest Nightmare will be available in both subtitled and dubbed versions.

The unique initiative to have the Detective Conan movies released in the same year in both Japan and China seems to be working, and if the movie’s success in Japan is any indication, fans in China have much to look forward to!
