On Nov. 1, the Sun-Star Stationery Store, a shop on Bandai’s official shopping site Premium Bandai, will open pre-orders for cleaner sets for computers and mobile devices that feature the brothers from Osomatsu-san in chibi forms themed after their everyday NEET lives. The Osomatsu-san Kyuppuri Mascot Cleaners Everyday NEET Life Sextuplet Set retails for 5,184 yen and the Osomatsu-san Kyuppuri Mascot Cleaners Everyday NEET Life Oshimatsu Set retails for 2,592 yen (tax included, shipping and handling separate for both), and both are available exclusively from Premium Bandai.
The sets are the third entry in the Jiko Sekinin Stationery Series based on the TV anime Osomatsu-san and feature plush mascots that double as cleaners for computers and mobile devices themed after the brothers’ everyday NEET lives. In addition to the “Sextuplet Set” that includes all six brothers, you can also root on your favorite with the “Oshimatsu Set” that includes three mascots of one character that double as both cleaners and collector’s items.
The mascots bring out the personality of each character, with Osomatsu wearing his familiar red hoodie holding a beer in one hand and oden in the other, Karamatsu looking sharp in sunglasses and a black leather jacket holding a fishing rod, Choromatsu looking like he’s on the trail of his favorite idols with a backpack slung on his back and holding a bag full of goodies, Ichimatsu wearing a face mask and holding green foxtail, Jyushimatsu looking full of energy in his bright yellow coat and wearing his favorite wristband, and Todomatsu holding a NY bag and cafe drink.
The mascots feature embroidery details including the facial expressions and are finished using quality materials to match each detail, including synthetic leather used for portions of the clothing, vinyl used for the accessories they’re holding, and printed felt. The bottom of each cute chibi mascot is also affixed with a cleaner pad for wiping computer screens and mobile devices, and with the included ball chain you have the option of arranging them together on your desk or attaching them to a bag and taking them with you when you go out.
