Are you up for a little test in traffic safety? This month TMS Entertainment is organizing a second present campaign for “Chiba Pedal ~A Lesson in Safe Cycling with Yowamushi Pedal~,” their collaboration with Chiba Prefecture (capital: Chiba, prefectural governor: Kensaku Morita) and Yowamushi Pedal in which winners can take home exclusive original items!
■ Present Campaign Vol. 2 Starts!
In order to promote safe cycling, a second present campaign will be held between Nov. 1 and 30. To enter the lottery, all you have to do is take a five-question mini quiz based on the original anime and explanations on the campaign’s special site and get all the questions right. The 1,000 lucky winners will get presented with keychains featuring members of the Sohoku team with CHI-BA+KUN (set of six, 500 sets available in total) or a mini clear file with a collaborative illustration (500 available).

To participate, complete the five-question quiz about bike safety on the Chiba Pedal special site. Those who answer all the questions correctly will be entered in a lottery for original items exclusive to the campaign (1,000 prizes in total).
■ About “Chiba Pedal ~A Lesson in Safe Cycling with Yowamushi Pedal~”
A collaboration project between Yowamushi Pedal and Chiba Prefecture, where Sohoku High School is located in the series, this campaign aims to deepen bicyclists’ knowledge about traffic rules and help them enjoy cycling without compromising their safety. They also made an original anime miniseries starring Chiba’s mascot character CHI-BA+KUN, all six episodes of which are available on the campaign’s special site.
■ About the Yowamushi Pedal Anime
Based on the manga by Wataru Watanabe serialized in Weekly Shonen Champion, the series follows high school students who devote their lives to cycling, arduously training, racing and overcoming conflicts and obstacles along the way. With two seasons (aired in October 2013 and 2014, respectively), an original theatrical anime (released in summer 2015), and a movie spin-off titled Yowamushi Pedal: Spare Bike (released in September 2016) under its belt, the popular series is looking forward to its newest, third season Yowamushi Pedal: New Generation scheduled to air from early January 2017 on TV Tokyo.
