Companies Hardcore Chocolate and Kodansha have joined forced to releases collaborative T-shirts and a hoodie based on the classic anime Tiger Mask!
Created by Ikki Kajiwara and Naoki Tsugi, this monumental series was broadcast from 1969 to 1971. Featuring a mix of professional wrestling and martial arts, Tiger Mask was the main character who had a fighting style so vicious he was feared in the American wrestling scene. After turning his back on the evil organization Tiger’s Den for the sake of an orphan, Tiger Mask was constantly plagued by those trying to take his life.
Several familiar characters are featured on the back of the Blood Justice shirt, including Mister Question, Mister Fudo, Mister Kamikaze, and more!
The “Doomsday!” tee features King Tiger, Black Tiger, and Big Tiger as they’ve appeared in the manga. The mix of color and monochrome gives the shirt a stylishly retro feel - perfect for a retro series!
The Great Zebra tee features, of course, The Great Zebra, who played an impactful role and proved to be a powerful ally to Tiger Mask!
The Masked World League 1970 tee might be the most epic design available. The back features an impressive array of character portraits that make for a bold and stylish design. Finally, the Tiger Cave hoodie design almost resembles a retro horror movie poster! A blood moon hangs low in the sky behind a vast array of characters including Mister X, the big leagues from the Tiger’s Den, and other assassins sent to kill Tiger Mask!
