Special Winter Event Winter One Piece 2016-2017 Coming to Tokyo One Piece Tower!

Tokyo One Piece Tower is the permanent theme park attraction based on One Piece, and it will be home to the seasonal event Winter One Piece 2016-2017!

To kick off the event there will be a lighting ceremony on Nov. 3 at 6 pm as a part of a collaboration with the Tokyo Tower winter event Tokyo Tower Winter Fantasy.

The main illumination is Japan’s largest snow globe with a diameter of 6 meters. It’s based around the miraculous cherry blossoms appearing in the One Piece universe which bloom in the winter. The key visual for Winter One Piece 2016-2017 is an original illustration based on this illumination. In addition to the cherry blossom-colored illumination, visitors can enjoy the radiance of Tokyo Tower, the symbol of Tokyo, along with scenes from One Piece being projected inside the dome while snow flutters inside it. Don’t miss out on your chance to see these miraculous cherry blossoms during your night in Tokyo.

There will also be a real treasure hunting event in collaboration with takarush Corp. for a limited time called the The Great Tongari Island Treasure Hunting Adventure! This event is set up around Tokyo One Piece Tower and Tokyo Tower. The elementary course “Find Tongari Island’s Phantom Animal!” will begin on Nov. 1. During this you’ll decipher the mysteries of ancient documents found by Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper, and then set out to find the nest of the mysterious animal known as Tongari Ton! A more difficult advanced course is planned to start on Jan. 1, so these real treasure-hunting experiences can be enjoyed by newcomers and regulars alike.

Other fun events will include the popular character Bepo appearing on the Tongari Stage within the park, as well as a winter-themed CollabPuri. ■ Tokyo Tower Winter Fantasy ~One Piece Snow Globe Illumination~ Summary

Illumination Time: 4 pm to 11 pm (begins with the illumination ceremony on Nov. 3)
Illumination Ceremony: Nov. 3 at 6 pm

Japan’s largest snow globe will be appearing as a part of the main illumination event in front of Tokyo Tower! It’s themed around the episode “Fuyu ni Saku Kiseki no Sakura,” or “Bloom in Winter, Miracle Cherry Blossom.” Once it’s time for the illumination, clips will be projected and snow will flutter in the snow globe. The premises will also be lit up in cherry blossom colors.
Imagine how great it would be to take commemorative photos at Tokyo Tower in the illuminated park!

■ The Great Tongari Island Treasure Hunting Adventure ~Find Tongari Island’s Phantom Animal!~ Summary

Story
Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper have found mysterious ancient documents passed down for generations on the island! Those documents contain the secrets for finding the nest of the phantom animal Tongari Ton, a pig living on Tongari Island which is supposed to taste amazing. Luffy and the crew were excited to find the phantom animal and searched for it right away, but weren’t able to find it. They begin trying to decipher the documents using advice from Zoro, Nami, Sanji, Robin, Franky, and Brook, but they need your help! Help Luffy and gang solve the riddles of these ancient documents and find the nest of the Tongari Ton!

The Heart Pirates navigator is landing on Tongari Island! Maybe you can have a souvenir photograph taken with Bepo on the Tongari Stage! Find out when and where you can meet Bepo on the day of your visit to the park.

■ CollabPuri Winter Ver. Summary

You can’t enjoy this CollabPuri purikura photo machine anywhere but Tokyo One Piece Tower! There are nine frames featuring the Straw Hat crew in winter coats. Take a souvenir photograph with your favorite character!
