Darth Vader and Shoretroopers are appearing in 1/6 scale as a part of Hot Toys Japan Co., Ltd.’s Movie Masterpiece series based on their appearances in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
■ Darth Vader is returning to the big screen in this new story alongside new Imperial Forces!
Darth Vader is making an epic return to the big screen for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and at his side are new Imperial soldiers known as Shoretroopers. Each has been recreated in 1/6 scale for high-quality figures with 30 points of articulation by Hot Toys.
Darth Vader stands at a height of 35 centimeters, imposing in a way that suits the Galactic Empire commander and Sith Lord. Every part of his design has been carefully recreated including his black armor and life support system, mask, helmet, control panel, outer cloak, and inner suit. His lightsaber can also be attached and taken off of his belt in its off mode. The belt also lights up using LEDs, adding to the polish of the figure with the industry’s most cutting-edge techniques.
The Shoretrooper is based on the Imperial soldiers found on the tropical planet Scarif and stands at 30 centimeters. Its armor and color differs slightly from the familiar Stormtrooper. Its unique helmet, blue-colored armor, belt with a pouch, black inner suit, and brown pants have all been carefully captured. It comes equipped with a blaster rifle and has been finished off with details like weathering on the armor.
By using the different hand parts included with each figure, you can recreate any number of scenes, and each comes with a specially designed base.
