Get ready for the most rocking Real Escape Game yet, music fans! SCRAP Entertainment Inc. will be holding "Escape from Pureland's Ultimate Catastrophe!", a Real Escape Game inspired by the anime series Show by Rock!!, at Sanrio Entertainment Co., Ltd.'s Sanrio Puroland theme park in January 2017. Show by Rock!! is a character project by Sanrio based on music bands, and it's aimed at game and anime fans. "Escape from Pureland's Ultimate Catastrophe!" is the first real life event for the series, so if you're a fan and happen to be in Japan in January next year, make sure you check it out!
The Show by Rock!! Real Escape Game "Escape from Pureland's Ultimate Catastrophe!" will take place on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday evenings after Puroland has closed for the day. The event will be held on nine days in January 2017: the 7th, 8th, 9th, 14th, 15th, 21st, 22nd, 28th, and 29th. The Real Escape Game is set in the imaginary theme park Pureland (which is actually inspired by Puroland) from the Show by Rock!! anime series. Participants will become band members and battle to solve the mysteries laid out around the theme park within the time limit. This Real Escape Game's unique story can only be enjoyed during this event, and it also features brand new voice recordings.
Certain tickets come with a CD of the event's theme song performed by Plasmagica (vocalists: Eri Inagawa, Sumire Uesaka, Manami Numakura, and Ayane Sakura), and limited edition products will be on sale at the event as well.
This event will let participants experience the world of the Show by Rock!! anime series. The Queen of Darkness has fired a massive beam gun, the Black Hole Cannon, at Pureland, and there's just one hour until it strikes. Participants have to use the power of music to escape this ultimate catastrophe!

Story
Today's the day of the annual Pureland Festival. The bands performing at the festival have put in hours of rigorous training for this day. The Pureland Festival's opening band will be Plasmagica! Just as the audience's excitement reaches a fever pitch, a message suddenly arrives from the Queen of Darkness: "I am the Queen of Darkness. I'll wreak destruction upon the Pureland Festival, and steal all of the musical energy in the universe!"
The Queen of Darkness aims and fires a massive beam gun, her Black Hole Cannon, at Pureland. At this rate, Pureland Festival will be wiped out, along with the world of music. You have only one hour left to use the power of music to escape this ultimate catastrophe!
