Bandai’s official online store Premium Bandai is about to launch a new collection of figures aimed at female collectors which is all about kawaii! The first figure in the Sweeties series will be a recreation of Usagi Tsukino from Sailor Moon in the Nakayosi waitress outfit as seen in the famous cover image of the magazine. The Usagi Tsukino Fruits Power Ver. figure is available for pre-order as of 1:00 p.m. on Sept. 23 and retails for 7,020 yen (including tax and shipping, excluding handling).
■ About the Sweeties Series
Sweeties is a figure series developed by Megahouse as part of their realistic figure range. As its name suggests, the Sweetie series is inspired by cute and lovely characters with kawaii outfits, sizing and themes. The series is only expected to expand from here on so be prepared for even more adorably cute figures to come!
■ About the Product
The first figure in the Sweeties series is the protagonist of Sailor Moon, Usagi Tsukino, dressed as a waitress. The figure is inspired by the famous cover illustration of the June 1995 issue of Nakayosi. Usagi Tsukino is fully recreated with her cute frilly apron hanging over her pink dress as she holds a spoon filled with fluffy whipped cream whilst smiling happily. Sitting in the parfait cup-style base, Usagi Tsukino is primed to generate an atmosphere of cuteness in any room. The strawberries and mandarin segments have clear parts so they look just the real thing!
