■ About Tsujiri
Tsujiri was established in 1860. The founder, Goemon Tsujiri, expanded the tea market by using wooden tea containers, which help to preserve the tea for longer. As well as establishing the gyokuro seihou method of preparing high-quality gyokuro tea leaves into beautiful, vivid green twists, he's also responsible for the fame enjoyed by Uji-cha, which is known as the most famous high quality tea. By offering high quality Japanese products that suit a wide variety of lifestyles, Tsujiri continues to hold Goemon Tsujiri's dreams for Uji-cha in its heart.
