Get ready for sweet treats that are almost too cute to eat, Rilakkuma fans! Later this month, Bandai's candy division will be releasing Japanese confectionery inspired by Korilakkuma and Koguma, friends of the comforting character Rilakkuma. The bears' newest friend Koguma is a little brown bear who loves honey, has a cute furry ruff, and is the proud owner of a pair of adorable fangs! From Tuesday, Sept. 27, the "Tabemas Rilakkuma - Korilakkuma & Koguma" set of two sweets will go on sale at Lawson stores across Japan (except Okinawa).

**■ About Tabemas**
Tabemas is Bandai’s range of character-themed traditional Japanese sweets and takes its name both from the Japanese verb “to eat” and a contraction of “Taberareru Mascot” which means “edible mascot.” Each character’s traits are brought out through blending together red bean paste, sugar, and flour into a shaped dough to make a nerikiri. Not only do they taste delicious, but they have an intricately detailed beauty and they’re almost too cute to eat!
About Tabemasu Rilakkuma - Korilakkuma & Koguma
Tabemas Rilakkuma is a set of two sweets: a Korilakkuma sweet (milk flavour) and a Koguma sweet (sweet potato flavour). As the name Taberareru Mascot suggests, these Japanese sweets feature the adorably round faces of Korilakkuma and Koguma, with each bear striking a cute roaring pose! The way their beady eyes stare out at you makes these sweets all the more charming. Korilakkuma is filled with milk-flavour bean jam while Koguma is filled with sweet potato-flavour bean jam, both flavours that are perfect for autumn. The superbly delicate taste and soft texture that you'd expect from Japanese confectionery make these sweets extra magical. Up to now the series has also featured Yo-kai Watch, Doraemon, and One Piece which have all proved a big hit thanks to their adorable designs.
