The Gudetama x Cafe Costa Mesa collaboration cafe has been going so well that Le Monde Des Gourmet Inc. has decided to extend it until Sept. 30! It is being held in Namba Parks, an urban complex connected with the Nankai Namba Station in Osaka. If you have the chance, be sure to check out Gudetama in his new fall outfit!
■ From Surfer Gudetama to Fall Outfit
Gudetama was the star surfer of the summer, and now he becomes a Hawaiian Gude-Omusubi soundly sleeping under a blanket made of luncheon meat. The new season comes with a new menu, too, with cute and tasty additions including the Gude Garlic Shrimp & Chicken Plate, Gude Mont Blanc Parfait, or the grape-flavored Gudeepu Cider, definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!

■ About Gudetama x Cafe Costa Mesa
A collaboration cafe featuring the cute but low-spirited Sanrio character Gudetama being held at Cafe Costa Mesa, a cafe drawing inspiration from the U.S. West Coast, Gudetama x Cafe Costa Mesa opened on May 20, 2016. It was originally divided into two periods (May 20 to July 15 and July 16 to Aug. 31) with different menus but has been extended for another month due to its popularity. Gudetama became a surfer for the original duration and he will be posing in fall clothing during September.
