YoAni x Animage Admission Guidebook YoAnimage to Be Distributed from September!

A really cool collaboration project is on its way between Yoyogi Animation School, Japan’s foremost animation school, and Tokuma Shoten (HQ: Minato, Tokyo; president & CEO: Kenichi Hirano), the company publishing the monthly magazine Animage: The school will be distributing introduction pamphlets under the title YoAnimage!

YoAnimage

For more about YoAnimage, check their website.

YoAnimage keeps the format of Animage while being filled with useful info about Yoyogi Animation School on the inside. Animage’s editorial department worked in full cooperation with designers. In the spirit of the collaboration, the cover features the members of HoneyWorks in an original illustration specially drawn by popular illustrator Yamako. It comes with a pin-up poster, too!

The guidebook implements all the popular features of Animage such as introducing the school’s departments in anime style (all drawn by teachers of YoAni) and publishing unedited submissions from YoAni students in the “Letter Room” section. The Animage editorial department went to great lengths to include everything about YoAni, and it sure sounds like they succeeded!
