First Set of Original Collaborative Goods from Kyomaf Shop Black Butler Yuki Chaya Announced!

Sony Music Communications Inc. will be teaming up with Space Shower Networks Inc. at the Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair 2016 (Kyomaf) in Miyako Messe on Sept. 17 and 18 for Black Butler Yuki Chaya!

There will also be goods sold within the Black Butler Yuki Chaya as a part of a “Collaborative Items with Kyoto Businesses” series, and the first set of collaborations has been announced! These include Black Butler x SIONE Yomu Utsuwa and Black Butler x Gofun Nail.

Black Butler Yuki Chaya is the specially designed Kyomaf version of the Black Butler Funtom Cafe which had an exhibit at Harajuku AREA-Q in January and at Kyoto Dojima Hotel in July. Kyoto is known for its classic Japanese culture, so that’s the theme for these Kyomaf-exclusive products and cafe menu items. If you’re visiting Kyomaf, then definitely stop and visit Yuki Chaya!

Black Butler Yuki Chaya Collaborative Items with Kyoto Businesses (1)

■ Black Butler x SIONE Yomu Utsuwa
The “Yomu Utsuwa” brand SIONE brings together the traditional techniques of Kyoto, Arita, and Hasami, and will be creating collaborative Black Butler items. SIONE plates have been created by designer Showko Kawahara with flowers based on each of the protagonists (Sebastian: Rose; Ciel: Lily). They’re then packaged in boxes styled based on books with illustrations of different items that capture the personality of the characters. The inside of Sebastian’s has a message for Ciel, and the inside of Ciel’s has a message for Sebastian.

Black Butler Yuki Chaya Collaborative Items with Kyoto Businesses (2)

■ Black Butler x Gofun Nail
Established 260 years ago, Ueba Esou (the makers of the Gofun Nail Polish) is Japan’s oldest painting shop, and is now releasing collaborative products with Black Butler. It opened in the first year of the Houreki era (1751), its trademark was its Byakko chalk, but it offered a wide variety of specialty painting items including pigments and drawing tools. It will now be selling a Kyomaf-exclusive Black Butler version of its Gofun Nail Polish, adored by Japanese women for the use of its white pigments. Six colors based on different Black Butler characters will be made available with specially drawn labels. There’s also a box set which includes the Sebastian, Ciel, and Super Coat bottles.
