■ About the Lip Glosses
This set of five lip glosses are based on the Communicators appearing in Sailor Moon. They are recreations of the Bishoujo Senshi Communicator toys released during the broadcasting of Sailor Moon R, and the 38 millimeter size is also toy-like. The colors are chosen based on the five main Sailor Senshi and come with a band to wear on your wrist, so they make a cute accessory as well as an incredible cosmetic item.
The Sailor Moon lip gloss is light pink, making it great for everyday use. The Sailor Mercury lip gloss is sparkly blue and has a glittery look that will brighten up dull lips. The Sailor Mars lip gloss is solid red and is great for mature looks or for wearing on special days. The Sailor Jupiter lip gloss is sparkly green and has a glittery look to it that is great for layering on top of other colors for a nuanced color. ■ About Sailor Moon
This shojo manga by Naoko Takeuchi began its serialization in 1992 in the monthly magazine Nakayoshi (published by Kodansha). The manga series has been translated into 17 languages and the anime adaptation has been broadcast in more than 40 countries, turning it into a social phenomenon. In 2012, a 20th anniversary project began. Its musical was performed in September 2013 for the first time in eight years, and a new musical will be performed in Tokyo and Fukuoka in October 2016, and in Osaka in November. The third season of its new anime Sailor Moon Crystal began airing in April 2016, and it also got its first official fan club. The Sailor Moon Crystal Blu-ray & DVD, original soundtrack, and Sailor Moon Complete Version manga are all on sale.
