Tokuriki Honten is coming out with a rare collector’s item: A statue of Monkey D. Luffy made of gold! They will be accepting orders from Aug. 1 for a limited period. “Pure Gold Monkey D. Luffy” is also on display at the storefront of Tokuriki Honten’s jewelry store, so be sure to check it out if you happen to be in the area.

One Piece has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump since 1997, and during its 19 years of run, it has became known and loved worldwide and it’s even broken a few records. One Piece File: Gold is the first One Piece movie in three years, and Tokuriki Honten, the oldest gold refining company in Japan (they have been around since the Edo period!), wanted to celebrate it by releasing a gold statue of the series’ protagonist, Luffy. It took a long time and many trials and errors perfecting it, but Luffy turned out so dazzling and majestic it’s hard to take your eyes off him! The statue comes in a small and a large version, both masterpieces rich in detail. News of this statue was first announced on Smap×Smap on July 1, and it also makes an appearance on the opening color pages of the Weekly Shonen Jump issue releasing on July 25.
