Shimamura Musical Instruments has collaborated with the One Piece anime to create a replica of Brook’s Shark Guitar as seen in the show. Sales began for the “One Piece Brook Shark Guitar” which retails for 270,000 yen (including tax, excluding shipping and handling fees) via Bandai’s official online store, Premium Bandai, on July 20.
The guitar is a collaboration between the One Piece anime and Shimamura Musical Instruments and fully recreates the Shark Guitar which the Straw Hat Pirates musician Brook plays in the show.
Of course it looks great but it’s also a top notch musical instrument too. The guitar has been constructed with high quality GOTOH components and the body is made with American basswood so it’s quite light to carry. Such a finely made instrument, the Shark Guitar really showcases the quality of craftsmanship that you’ve come to expect from the words “made in Japan.”
The guitar also comes with a hard carrying case which has a metal plate on the front, as well as a shoulder strap with the guitar’s logo embossed on the top, and a certificate of authenticity featuring the guitar’s serial number. Great for One Piece fans, the Shark Guitar is also a wonderful musical instrument in its own right and sure to appeal to guitarists everywhere.
