Legoland® Japan is set to open on April 1, 2016 in Kinjo-Futo, Nagoya. A full outline for the kinds of attractions that will be available at the outdoor family theme park have now been released. There will also be a large scale Legoland® diorama on display at the JR Nagoya Takashimaya department store in their first floor main stage space. The diorama will remain in place until Aug. 9, 2016 and will depict the finished condition of the park.
Legoland® Japan will be divided into seven different areas where you can experience different Lego® worlds with over 40 attractions and shows on offer for visitors to enjoy. In the Knight’s Kingdom area, for example, you’ll be able to ride the The Dragon roller coaster which runs through the king’s castle. In Miniland, you’ll be able to see street scenes and scenery from 10 places throughout Japan represented in Lego using around 10,000,000 pieces. In fact, there will even be a 2 meter high version of Nagoya Castle built with around 225,000 Lego® bricks which is one of the many examples of the wonderful things you can only experience at Legoland Japan®. There will also be an area where kids and adults alike can have fun with Lego, Bricktopia, and Lego® City where kids can learn to drive cars and pilot boats completing this outdoor children’s theme park which families can enjoy together.
There will also be five themed restaurants offering meals and snacks. In the Factory, there will be a shop selling the biggest Lego® hits throughout Asia as well as The Big Shop which will carry exclusive items only available at the theme park.

Legoland Japan Diorama at Takashimaya
A large scale diorama measuring 1.8m x 3.7m will be on display for a limited time only at the JR Nagoya Takashimaya department store. Through looking at the diorama you can enjoy the world of Legoland® Japan a little ahead of time.

Legoland® Japan
Legoland® is an internationally popular theme park which is aimed at families with children between two and 12 years old. The upcoming Nagoya based attraction is the first in Japan and the eighth so far worldwide.
