The Japanese Video Game Music Symphony JAGMO Returns This Summer With Incredible Programs and Even Performances in France!

JAGMO, which was the first professional video game music symphony, will have their latest full orchestra, Densetsu no Koukyou Kumikyoku - The Legendary Symphonic Suite, this summer at Suntory Hall on Aug. 13 and 14. Developed around the concept of going on one more journey, legendary songs were chosen. Following the first details of the program, it’s now been revealed in its entirety! Included are appropriately legendary video games including the Final Fantasy series and Chrono Trigger.

The symphony will also make an appearance at Paris, France's Japan Expo 2016 on July 8 and 10 as a part of the JAGMO World Project.

1.The program is packed and includes popular franchises like Final Fantasy and Chrono Trigger!
Following from the previous information released about the performance, the full program includes hugely popular video games like the Final Fantasy series and Chrono Trigger. It includes Golbez Shitennou no Battle, and Big Bridge no Shitou, which many fans were hoping to hear again, as well as Final Fantasy X songs including Kaze no Tsuioku ~Yuukyuu no Kaze Densetsu~, Melodies Of Life, Eyes On Me, Kiss Me Goodbye, and Suteki da ne.

2.Performances will also be held at Japan Expo 2016 in France
Following the 2015 performance which boasted an audience of 5,000 people, this symphony will appear once more at Europe’s largest Japanese culture festival, Japan Expo! It will mark the first collaborative performance with Saori Kobayashi, who worked on music for the Panzer Dragoon series and Crimson Dragon series, and will be held on July 8 and 10.

3.The performance will be bigger than ever, perfect for newcomers and diehard fans alike!
JAGMO, which started in 2014, has reached its 3rd year thanks to the support of its fans. Developed around the theme of going on one more adventure, this performance will be held at Japan’s largest stadium, Suntory Hall. There will be many new songs, so JAGMO fans will have new music to look forward to, and of course newcomers will enjoy it as well!

◆ About Japan’s First Professional Video Game Music Orchestra, JAGMO ◆
JAGMO (JApan Game Music Orchestra) is was Japan’s first professional video game music symphony and was established by producer Tadakaz Mishiya in 2014 with the vision of capturing the history of video game music. Featuring young performers interested in video games, it continues to bring the highest quality of video game music performances to its fans.

It held a full-orchestra performance in March, July, and October of 2015 in Tokyo, each of which had an audience of 5,000. That same year, it also appeared in Paris, France’s July convention Japan Expo to a full house,

In Jan. 2016, JAGMO appeared as the opening performers on the video game music stage at the video game convention Tokaigi 2016. That March, they held the full-orchestra performance Densetsu no Kyoushikyoku - The Legendary Rhapsody -, and in May they were a part of the collaborative concert featuring the video game project Touhou Project called JAGMO - Gensoukyou no Koukyougakudan.
