■ About Tokyo Sushi Academy
Tokyo Sushi Academy, Japan’s first sushi culinary school, opened 15 years ago in response to the changing landscape of the sushi world. While being a sushi chef required many years of experience before, this school offers the opportunity to gain the necessary skills in a shorter amount of time. More than 3,500 people have graduated from this school, and its classes quickly sell out to students aiming to be sushi chefs from all over the world. Its branch in Tsukiji is also taking international chefs seeking to learn about sushi, constructing a foundation for sushi chefs all around the world.
