Pre-orders for the “Mobile Suit Gundam Universal Unit GX-Bit Set” (1,296 yen; tax included, shipping and handling separate) based on the unmanned bit mobile suit GX-Bit from After War Gundam X were opened on Bandai’s official shopping site, Premium Bandai, on July 8 at 1:00 p.m. This set will only be available on Premium Bandai!
■ About This Set
This special version is a part of the Universal Unit line of real-type action figures. It’s available only through Premium Bandai, and includes three GX-Bit figures in satellite cannon poses. With their powerful weapons, these unmanned bit mobile suits are used by New-Types. It takes only one person to control them (a person onboard a Gundam X, for example), so even a single New-Type person can lead a large group into battle with the GX-Bit. By pairing it with the Gundam X (a part of the October 2016 Universal Unit 2 lineup; 540 yen each, tax included), you can capture the Gundam universe, and if you get four sets of GX-Bit, you’ll be able to recreate that famous scene of Gundam X controlling 12 GX-Bit.

Pursuing real-type action figures of global standards. These 3.34” (8.5 centimeter) figures are loved around the world and come pre-painted. ■ About the October 2016 Release of Universal Unit 2
The second series of Real-type Gundam Action Figures which come at a global standard size of 3.34” (8.5 centimeters). You attach the limbs to its body to complete the figure. The lineup includes Z Gundam, Z Plus, Gundam X, and Hy Gogg. Each mobile suit has different weaponry and two patterns. The Gundam X is able to be posed like it’s shooting a satellite cannon.

■ About After War Gundam X
Not long ago, the space colonies and Earth were locked in all-out war. There was no clear winner. The Earth, everyone’s home, suffered lethal damage, and most of its 10 billion people were lost. It’s been 15 years since that war, and the environment has finally stabilized.
Protagonist Garrod Ran is an orphan of that war, a boy both knowledgeable about mobile suits and skilled with them. He’s asked to save a young girl named Tiffa by a mysterious man, and he sneaks onto the land battleship Freeden where she’s being kept. After rescuing her, Garrod returns to the mysterious man, but she’s terrified upon seeing him. Garrod realizes his mistake and feels for her. Lead by Tiffa’s strange powers, they discover a mobile suit Gundam X in an abandoned UNE facility.
