Based on illustrations by Tony, Kotobukiya is releasing an 1/6 scale figure of Irohahime from Sengoku Taisen, a real-time trading card game currently available in game centers, this November.

Tony is a popular illustrator known for his work on the Shining series by SEGA among others. Migikura, a sculptor often working from Tony’s illustrations, has taken all the info he could from the card illustrations as well as freshly drawn settings illustrations by Tony, then, after careful consideration of how she looks from all angles, he recreated the images in a breathtakingly detailed sculpture.
Due to the mica coating suiting the color schemes of each of the respective clothing parts, the wings made of transparent material, and the clear stand in a cooling aqua blue, the statue’s look changes ever so faintly depending on the lighting. Add to that the gorgeous pearly silver ornaments and the leaf and flower patterns printed with tampography, and you get the stunning Irohahime seen here.
