Now humans can enjoy it with their stuffed toys, though, through the Yawarakan’s Cafe “Ochakai Event Da Yo” event in Harajuku’s picture book cafe See More Glass on July 23!

~Make memories with your favorite stuffed toy without worrying about other people~
Yawarakan's Cafe is a specialty cafe for women who love stuffed toys. Usually stuffed toys are sent here through the mail to be waited on, and humans aren’t allowed to enter. To celebrate its first anniversary, Yawarakan’s Cafe will be in a metropolitan cafe for this event so human customers can enter, as well!
This cafe is designed for people who want to spend a fun day out making memories with their stuffed toys but are uncomfortable with people staring at them and making it an uncomfortable experience. Here, you can just have fun without worrying about other people.

Each tea party event session is 50 minutes and is open to a maximum of 8 customers, and there will be 4 sessions. It will include things like photo ops and a photo exhibit. It will also give customers a chance to enjoy tea together while having conversations with fellow cafe-goers and the staff.

■ About See More Glass
See More Glass is a small coffee shop where you can read picture books which opened in Harajuku in 1996. It can be recognized by its sign by picture book illustrator Ryoji Arai, and in its calm atmosphere decorated with cute sundries and posters you can enjoy more than 2,000 picture books.
■ Yawarakan's Cafe Concept
The cafe is based on the concept of showing hospitality to stuffed toys which have been mailed to the cafe by their owners. Treated as humans, they’re photographed enjoying different food and activities, and then the owners are given photo albums or picture data. Other souvenirs are prepared, as well.
