On June 22, Tableware producer NIKKO Company released on its official online shop the first part of their NIKKO Hand Painting line influenced by cooking professionals and used domestically in 5-star hotels and abroad in restaurants.
About NIKKO Hand Painting
The NIKKO Hand Painting line features tableware which is influenced by professional chefs. Themed around the senses of happiness and atmosphere found in nature, it dares to defy modern techniques by putting incredible care into each product through painting done by hand. Each piece is made of pure white NIKKO fine bone china 1 and features subtle Japanese-style painting in a delicate gradation that appears almost transparent to the extent that you can almost sense nature’s light, scent, and the passage of time. These are special pieces you can’t find anywhere else.

These are designed and painted by the Art Painters' Lab 2. Based on the nature-rich northwest region of Japan, each piece is carefully crafted and painted by hand to express the happiness and atmosphere found there.
