Shopping Guide
Kicks Junior Elite, a programming classroom that uses LEGO® bricks for teaching, is organizing a summer school! Kicks is a joint project of Chuoh Publishing Co., Ltd., a company that publishes textbooks and teaching materials and organizes schools, and Crefus, a company that provides courses in robotics all over Japan.
This course is designed to boost kids’ knowledge through the unique experience of building complex LEGO structures and moving them with programming.
Duration: July 25 (Mon.) to Aug. 5 (Fri.), 2016 (90 minutes, 2 days each)

- Nagoya: PKC Apita Midori, HugPON! Nonami, HugPON! Tokushige, PKC Moriyamanishi, PKC Meitokita, PKC Hira Ajiwa, PKC Tempaku-minami, HugPON! Fujigaoka, PKC Beisia
- Fukuoka: Fujisaki Classroom
- Shizuoka: Higashi-shizuoka Classroom, PKC S-Pulse Dream Plaza
Times: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm & 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Class Content:
- Gimmicks! Monster Extermination!
Create a gimmicky house full of hidden mechanisms and sensors to exterminate the approaching monsters!
- Gimmicks! Let’s Make a Secret Base!
Make a Pythagorean device! Set out three marbles and deliver them to Julio-kun!
- Walking! Let’s Make a Rhinoceros Beetle Robot!
Learn about insects and master the mechanics of walking!
*Courses might vary depending on the classroom.*
Capacity: 8 groups for each course
Target: Kicks members who have taken at least the Standard course
Application Deadline: July 16 (Sat.), 2016
Cost: ¥9,000 per course (can be taken multiple times)
*If renting a kit, a rental fee of ¥500 (tax excluded) will be charged.*
