New figures of Heero Yuy and Relena Peacecraft based on their appearances in the second opening of Mobile Suit Gundam Wing are available for pre-order as of 4:00 pm on June 10 on Bandai’s official shopping site, Premium Bandai, from the figure series Alpha Omega, a collaborative series between the figure manufacturer Alter and Megahouse. They’re titled “Alpha Omega Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Heero Yuy” and “Alpha Omega Mobile Suit Gundam Wing Relena Peacecraft” (12,528 yen each, tax and shipping included, handling separate). They’re also available as a set (24,408 yen, tax and shipping included, handling separate)!
■ About the Figures
The protagonist Heero Yuy and heroine Relena Peacecraft from the TV anime Mobile Suit Gundam Wing, broadcasted in 1995, are appearing in the project Alpha Omega, a collaboration between figure manufacturer Alter and Megahouse. They’re recreated based on their back-to-back appearances in the second opening, used for episodes 41–49.

Heero is the pilot of the Mobile Suit Wing Gundam and protagonist of the series, raised to be a “perfect soldier” who focuses on duty without getting distracted by his emotions. He’s wearing Sanc Kingdom ceremonial clothes here, sitting atop rubble with his back to Relena. This faithful recreation has all of his details, both for his muscles and his clothes. Despite his quiet recklessness, his face here captures his secret warmth. His ceremonial clothes are removable, so you can also enjoy him in just his classic tank top and shorts.
[Relena Peacecraft]
The main heroine who advocates for absolute pacifism as the last princess of the Sanc Kingdom. Acting as the diplomatic vice-minister of the Unified Nation, she seeks to improve relations between the Earth and colonies. She’s dressed in the magnificent Sanc Kingdom ceremonial clothes featuring a white base and stands strong atop rubble. She has a warm smile that still captures her unwavering faith, and the details are well-captured, like the way her hair blows in the wind.

■ About Alpha Omega
Alpha Omega was started as a collaborative project between figure makers Alter and Megahouse in 2007. The name is meant to symbolize the all-encompassing nature of the series with Alpha being the first letter in the Greek alphabet and Omega being the last. Figures in this series have included a Halloween version of Eli Ayase from Love Live!, Kaoru Niimi and Makoto Harada from Space Battleship Yamato 2199, Yagyu Kyubei from Gintama, and Yzak Joule from Mobile Suit Gundam Seed.

*Mobile Suit Gundam Wing* is a TV anime and a part of the Gundam series from Sunrise which was broadcast on TV Asahi from April 7, 1995 until March 29, 1996.
