Sanrio’s character project Show By Rock!! is to collaborate with fashion label Cynthia Rowley. A newly illustrated visual of the four members of the Plasmagica band wearing the limited edition collaboration clothing has also been unveiled.
The limited edition collaboration goods will be sold at Isetan’s Shinjuku location. With Plasmagica clothing at the centre, items themed around Shingan Crimsonz’s Crow, Shinimonogurui’s Mari Mari, Tsurezurenaru Ayatsuri Mugenan’s Daru Dayu, and Trichronika’s Shu Zo are also being prepared.
Show By Rock!! started out as a gaming app but it was later adapted into a TV anime broadcast in January 2015, and its popularity continues to boom. The character project’s special feature is its band theme; over 20 groups appear in the franchise. In the 2015 Sanrio Character Ranking, five of the bands placed within the top 20.
Cynthia Rowley is an elegant fashion label found in Isetan that’s popular for its cute and refined designs which are also suitable for everyday wear. Just what kind of synergy will the collaboration between these popular characters and the fashion brand generate - it’s certainly something to look out for!
The items will be sold via Isetan’s online store and Shinjuku branch in the second floor East Park area from Aug. 5–11. The Shinjuku store will also have life-size figures of the characters set up too, bringing the collaboration to a climax. As a special bonus, when you purchase an item during the campaign you’ll also receive a newly illustrated clear file while supplies last.
