Coming approximately 20 years after the broadcast began, a replica of the Saint Illusion Stick, a magical item that appears in the TV anime Saint Tail, is being rereleased. And this time it’s a charm. With its wonderful, handy size, it seems it can be enjoyed as an everyday item as well. Pre-orders are now being taken on Bandai’s official shopping site, Premium Bandai.
The original work to Saint Tail is a shoujo manga that was serialized in Kodansha’s Nakayoshi from 1994–1996. The series gained huge popularity primarily with young girls with the 1995 TV anime that was broadcast for a year. There are many fans who no doubt still remember her line from when she transforms.
The item being released this time is the Saint Illusion Stick used by main character Meimi Haneoka when she transforms into Kaito Saint Tail. Crafted into a charm that is wonderfully finished with clear parts and a metallic coating, it recreates all the details from the anime. The transparent parts are impressive with their ruby designs, and even adult fans will be able to enjoy the charm’s stylishness. It will likely draw attention as an everyday item that you can hang from a smartphone or bag.
Furthermore, postcards of scenes from the finale will be included as a bonus. Fans can look forward to the designs they’ll receive, which is a point of interest as well.
The price of the “Kaito Saint Tail Saint Illusion Stick Charm” is 3,240 yen (tax included, shipping and handling separate). Pre-orders will end when quantities have been reached. The product will be shipped out in October.
