Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ collaborates with CoCo Ichibanya; fantastic presents excite fans
CoCo Ichibanya, Japan’s largest curry chain, has started a collaboration with one of the most popular anime. The company is holding a collaboration campaign with the film Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ from April 1 to May 31. This comes just in time for the April 18 (Sat.) release of the film Japan-wide.
Throughout the campaign, those who spend 1,000 yen (tax included) or more will be able to use their receipt to enter to win CoCo Ichibanya original goods. A lottery is also being held in which original pin badges (six to collect), a complete pin badge box, and a free drink coupon
are up for grabs.
Among the prizes available, the original goods that can be won with a receipt stand out. Five hundred people will win an exclusively drawn original large plate that, in CoCo Ichibanya fashion, shows Goku scarfing down a plate of curry. Just like its name suggests, the plate is large in size, enough to serve two or three people.
Other original prizes available include a specially drawn tapestry showing a full-length illustration of Goku teleporting (500 winners), a jumbo towel (200 winners), and a glass set (300 winners). In addition, there is also a 1,000-yen meal coupon (tax included) for use at CoCo Ichibanya available.
Customers can also try their luck in the store’s lottery by spending at least 1,000 yen (tax included). Prizes in the lottery include one random original pin badge (six to collect), a chance to win a complete box of pin badges, and a coupon for a free drink. The pin badges have excellent designs that can be combined together and include Goku, Vegeta, Krillin, Frieza, Gohan, and Piccolo. Because there are mesmerizing items in both the receipt campaign and lottery, Dragon Ball fans will likely not want to miss out.
The lottery can also be enjoyed by customers at the store’s overseas locations. An English guide will be available at these locations holding the campaign. This thoughtful gesture is thanks to Dragon Ball being such a popular series overseas.
