Performances for the stage play Yowamushi Pedal Inter-High Chapter: The Winner, will start from March 2015. To celebrate this, the production will do a collaboration with Sega’s theme park, Tokyo Joypolis. “Yowamushi Pedal Stage Play in Joypolis” will be performed for a limited time between Feb. 7 and March 29. Including the showing of a special movie that uses projection mapping, a variety of projects are scheduled to greet visitors. Yowamushi Pedal has created a lot of excitement with its manga, anime, stage play, and many other genre adaptations. The series is about to once again expand the possibilities.
First of all, during the collaboration period, the special movie will show three times each day. “Koi no Hime Hime☆Pettanko,” a song from the theatrical version, along with a promotional video for the stage play will be combined with projection mapping to create a picture show. With this, visitors can experience and enjoy a taste of the flashy production. In addition, on weekends and holidays, dance lectures for “Koi no Hime Hime☆Pettanko” will be conducted. This latter option offers a fun way to move your body and is especially recommended for fans eagerly anticipating the production.
An exhibition for Yowamushi Pedal Stage Play will also be held within the establishment. The exhibition features uniforms and life-size cardboard standups actually used in the shows, as well as photos from the performances, and prized goods. In a refreshment corner, visitors can order items from a menu inspired by the characters appearing in the theatrical version. Visitors will receive stickers and coasters as a present, too.
At “Fortune Forest,” the attraction where visitors can enjoy fortune telling, papers will contain fortunes related to Yowamushi Pedal. Other limited time events include the sale of an original clear file folder and more. All in all, this campaign has a high volume of Yowamushi Pedal content for fans.
Tokyo Joypolis is preparing an original Yowamushi Pedal passport to accompany the entrance ticket. If included together, the admission ticket, one-time attraction ticket, and the Yowamushi Pedal Stage Play pass case will make a great bargain. With tax included, the price for adults (ages 18 and up) will be 2,100 yen, while elementary, junior high, and high school students will be 1,600 yen.
