The Hikaru Utada 15th anniversary cover album Utada Hikaru no Uta - 13 Kumi no Ongakuka ni Yoru 13 no Kaishaku Nitsuite will release on Tuesday, Dec. 9. The tracklist to the album has now been announced.
Each of the 13 songs were announced: “Sakura Drops” sung by Yousui Inoue, “Letter” by Ringo Shiina, “Automatic” Yasuyuki Okamura, “Movin’ on Without You” by Ayumi Hamasaki, “Flavor of Life” by Hanaregumi, “Final Distance” by AI, “Be My Last” by Kazuya Yoshii, “Hikari” by Love Psychedelico, “For You” by Miriya Katou, “Stay Gold” by Torio Ohashi, “Time Will Tell” by Tofubeats with Bonnie Pink, “Keep Tryin’” by Kirinji, and “Sanctuary” by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis featuring Peabo Bryson. This diverse lineup of artists includes new artists and veterans alike.
Also, a new PV called “Beautiful World,” which was created by the team behind Rebuild of Evangelion, was released at the same time. The PV was created by the team by re-editing scenes from the three Rebuild of Evangelion movies, and it also includes scenes released for the first time.
