On Sept. 19, Amuse Inc. introduced their new product lineup at their fall preview event. The company’s Alpacasso series has found great success, even on the TOM Premium Shop.
This time at the preview event, all eyes were on the popular Alpacasso line with their showing of new products for November to February. One example expected to release in mid-November is the “Makiba no Kids Alpacasso” series. (Makiba is the Japanese word for meadow.) These cuties will be offered from the super mini to big size and feature four different versions.

Some fans of the Alpacasso series who had heard that Amuse would create an alpaca wearing a sheep headpiece suggested that the company just make sheep toys instead. An Amuse staff agreed that while this idea makes sense, the company thinks that Alpacasso would like to celebrate the upcoming Year of the Sheep 1 with sheep cosplay. Amuse also recommends their “Tsuchineko Wagokoro” series releasing in November, which feature cats accessorized with traditional Japanese symbols. They come as large plushies or as cute pencil cases.
This coming December marks the Alpacasso series’ fifth year anniversary. In celebration of this exciting occasion, Amuse will release the “Alpacasso WakuWaku Party” series. (Waku waku is the Japanese phrase for excitement and thrill.) These Alpacasso wear patterned accessories and rosettes on their chest. Even though they haven’t received an invitation yet, the alpacas are ready to party!

The merchandise we’ve introduced in this article are expected to be available through the TOM Premium Shop as they release. Just wait a little longer!
^1^ By the way, the 60-year cycle created by combining the 12 zodiac signs and 5 elements was used throughout Asia, including China. Zodiacs and astrology were also used to calculate time, orientation, and angles. When counting the years, animals like the cow, sheep, snake, and dragon are used in place of numerals.
