A specialty shop for Kuroko’s Basketball, which is picking up attention due to the decision to begin production on Season 3 of the TV anime, will be opening in Shinjuku Marui Annex in Tokyo. Namco, which develops character shops, will be opening a Chara Pop Store for Kuroko’s Basketball for a limited time from Sept. 5 to Nov. 16.

The shop will be located on the seventh floor of Shinjuku Marui Annex, and it will be filled with entertainment for fans to enjoy including limited edition merchandise for sale, mini attractions, photo spots, and more. Chara Pop Store is an independently developed new business establishment by Namco that serves as a place where various kinds of entertainment themed after anime and games can be enjoyed. This store that fuses the selling of merchandise with playing will be open for a limited time only. It’s gaining popularity for heightening fans’ enjoyment of the work.

The Kuroko’s Basketball Chara Pop Store is comprised of the merchandise shop KuroBas Shop, two mini attractions called “The Feared Practice Menu” and “Pass and Take the Shot!”, and a photo spot.

In addition to regular merchandise, the KuroBas Store also has long cushions and other event-exclusive products that can’t be bought anywhere else. Also, customers will receive an original postcard as a present for every 1,000 yen spent at the store.

The mini attraction “The Feared Practice Menu” is a no-lose lottery that uses a lottery machine. “Pass and Take the Shot!” is a game of luck in which players pass and shoot in the middle of a game. Depending on who the ball is passed to, different prizes will be given out for successful shots.

Because the series is so popular, this event will likely be bustling throughout its duration. A raffle will also be held for the first three days the store is open, so make sure not to miss it. Admission is free and the store’s business hours are 11:00 - 21:00 every day except Sundays and holidays when the store will be open from 11:00 - 20:00.
