The broadcast start time for the TV anime Persona 4 Golden, the broadcast to which was previously announced to begin this summer, has been cemented. This announcement came suddenly as an advertisement on a truck driving through the city on June 7. It was also officially announced on the official site the same day. The first broadcast will be on MBS at 25:59 on July 10. After that, the anime will air on TBS, CBC, and BS-TBS. It is a part of the anime programming block Animeism which has aired many hit series including Eureka Seven: AO, Valvrave the Liberator, and Knights of Sidonia.
The anime Persona 4 Golden shares its name with the 2012 PS Vita game it is based on. The game is a big hit, to which 350,000 copies have been shipped. The game was an updated version of the popular title Persona 4. Persona 4 also became a huge TV anime in 2011 and 2012. The anime Persona 4 Golden is a continuation of this anime. Many fans are no doubt waiting to find out just how the story will develop.
Along with the announcement of the broadcast information, a key visual was also released that shows main character Yu Narukami and a new character from Persona 4 Golden, Marie. The stage for Persona 4 Golden is a town in the countryside. Due to family circumstances, Yu Narukami transfers from his hometown into Yasogami High School, and before long, he’s wrapped up in an incident that happens in town.
