Alpacasso, cute characters themed after alpaca that are available now on the TOM Premium Shop, are popular for their lovely expressions and cute appearance. The maker of Alpacasso is the Japanese company Amuse, Inc.
Amuse mainly develops fancy goods that bring joy and elicit unintentional responses of “Kawaii!” from its fans. The company has a whole lineup of fascinating deformed animal characters including Kaomoji Fuji-tan, Usazukin, and Pote Usa Loppy.
Particularly popular among these are Alpacasso, cutely deformed characters themed after alpaca, which live in the Andes mountain range of South America. Alpacasso are even softer versions of alpaca, which are popular worldwide for their lovely looks, and their characteristic designs target fans 10-40 years of age who like cute things and feel-good characters. Even on TOM, Alpacasso are especially popular with those in their 20s to 40s. One main reason for the support they’ve received may stem from their many color variations.
Alpacasso come in an abundance of forms and varieties including cube-shaped screen cleaners, day pack pouches, and cube blocks. There are many variations even within the plush toy line including pretty Alpacasso dressed up in different costumes! Alpacasso are also developed as prizes for game centers in Japan, and to date more than 1 million Alpacasso have been shipped. Exactly the same as those sold in Japan, the Alpacasso sold on the TOM Premium Shop are official brand merchandise.
