The new TV anime M3: Sono Kuroki Tetsu will begin broadcasting this April. A teaser site also opened on March 13, and an official Twitter account (@M3_anime) launched on which the latest information is being posted. Though the anime is starting next month, information up until now has been well hidden. This likely isn’t a surprise to anime fans. However, even now much of the information on the anime is still unknown. Also, only a small portion of the main staff have been revealed. Captivating eyes on the teaser site is the phrase “The M3 Project from Junichi Satō × Mari Okada × Shōji Kawamori has appeared!”
Directing the anime is Junichi Satō who has brought to the world a number of hit works including Sailor Moon, Kaleido Star, and Aria. Appointed as series composer is Mari Okada who creates abundant stories and talked-about characters who sway the hearts of many fans. Her works include Anohana and Nagi-Asu: A Lull in the Sea. The mecha designer has also been announced. Filling this role is Shōji Kawamori who has worked on the Macross and Cyber Formula series. Creating the animation is Satelight. Because of its reputation for high-quality anime as seen in such series as Macross F and Bodacious Space Pirates, this is expected as well for M3: Sono Kuroki Tetsu.
The TV anime M3: Sono Kuroki Tetsu is a sudden development from M3 Project. Just what type of work will be created by these three big names in the anime world? There is much to speculate about. More information on the cast, staff, and broadcast is forthcoming. Look forward to new information on this April anime.
